Artist's Statement

Nudes in a Geometric Landscape
The concept came about after I combined figure drawings with my linear abstractions. Through the poses and the geometry I create a space imbued with color, texture, line and drama.

The Woody and Dolly drawings are pure pseudo-sexual fantasy. Woody, an artists manequin, and Dolly, an inflatable doll, are an unlikely couple without inhibition.

The Linear Abstractions are acrylic and lanyard on canvas. They are based on the principles of perspective. The color permeates and adds to the grand design. There are no boundaries.

The Flower paintings are oil or acrylic on canvas. They are arranged and rearranged as if they were a bouquet. The size can vary according to the space.
